These casings differ, above all, in their surface structure. The decorative effect is achieved not through printing, but by modifying the texture of one of the casing layers. Despite the functional similarity, the different types of the AMITEX Rondo casing are designed for various types of sausage products.

AMITEX Rondo 1

AMITEX Rondo 1 is a casing with a noble opaque roughish surface. Its quietly natural look is ideal for the traditional boiled sausage products made to GOST. A classical sausage should have a classical casing.

AMITEX Rondo 3 is a glossy casing with a mesh effect on one of the internal layers. It looks modern and offers rich decorative possibilities. It can be expediently used for the economy class boiled sausages. These are the so-called 'niche' sausage groups developed for expanding into the regional markets or attracting the consumers' attention to the manufacturer's products as those supplied by a viable competitor. Such sausages need alluring and impressive packaging.


AMITEX Rondo 3 makes it possible to produce lines of various types of boiled sausage products united by a characteristic pattern on the surface, but differing in the decorative elements. The textured layer used in all three types of the Rondo casing creates the decorative effect and imparts special 'reinforcing' properties, which makes the casing highly tensile-resistant and reduces the risk of longitudinal breaks in the casing when cutting.


Advantages of the Rondo family of casings characteristic of this class of packaging: - high mechanical strength; - elasticity; - low permeability to oxygen and water vapor; - no microbiological damage.


The legitimate shelf life of sausage products in the AMITEX Rondo casings is 60 days.

AMITEX Rondo 4

AMITEX Rondo 4 casing is developed for sliced sausages and hams as well as for molded products.

Using of AMITEX Rondo 4 casing makes it possible to transfer the color and smoking fragrance from the outer layer of the casing to the surface of the product during the cooking process. It gives an opportunity to exclude the process of smoking, frying or additional coloration of surface of the sausage before selling.

AMITEX Rondo 4 helps minimizing time and money expenses as there is no weight loss during the cooking process that causes the decrease of production period.

Amitex Rondo 4 is available only in clear color.
