AMISMOK of the KS type represents monolayer plastic casing, featuring permeability to smoking fume. They use this casing to manufacture various types of the sausage-like processed cheeses, whose production technology supposes fume-smoking stage.

AMISMOK casing features the following specifications:

  • Permeability to smoking fume;
  • Homogenous calibre;
  • High mechanical strength and elasticity;
  • Low permeability to oxygen and water vapours;
  • High thermal resistance;
  • Biological inertness.

AMISMOK KS type casing features all benefits of both permeable and barrier casings:

  • Convenient handling; opportunity of the casing application at the automatic equipment;
  • Simple preparation and storage thereof;
  • High mechanical strength;
  • High elasticity;
  • Low permeability to oxygen and water vapours;
  • Extended suitability period for sausage-like processed cheeses, manufactured in conformity with Technical Regulations 10 of the Russian Federation 1144-92. (suitability period amounts to 90 days);
  • Reduction of the weight losses during production process and storage of the final products, thus resulting in higher profits when selling;
  • High thermal resistance of said casing permits to perform smoking at higher temperatures, required for improving of the final product quality.

AMISMOK casing represents combination of the high product quality and permanent care for the customers.
This casing peels easily off the final products.
Owing to its once formed molecular structure, AMISMOK KS type casing provides permeability to aromatic fume agents, thus imparting traditional organoleptic properties to the final products (glossy, colored and crusty surface, as well as smoking taste and aroma).
The process of the eventual weight loss during storage of the sausage-like processed cheeses, enclosed into the AMISMOK KS type casing, proceeds far slower than that in the cellulose-made casing, the fact that permits to avoid respective paraffin impregnation.
This casing is not subject to microbiological damage, because the polymers used for its manufacturing, are inert to the microorganisms impact and represent ecologically safe products, harmless for the environment.
